What we’re up to

Since 2002, the Foundation for Lincoln City Libraries has been working on a bold vision: a downtown library that reflects who we are and where we’re headed. After 23 years, the Central Library project is moving forward with a welcoming and modern space that serves all of Lincoln.

Our mission is simple: to fund the programs, spaces, and stories that make Lincoln’s libraries essential to the life of our city. The Central Library will be the culmination of decades of hard work.
